Review: Iceland Meal in a bag

I have tried several of the Iceland meal in a bag ranges now and thought I would review them.

They are great value for money at £2 a bag and they serve 2. I have had them with my partner for our evening meal and also half a bag for myself for lunches.

I have tried 3 flavours;
Chicken teriyaki stir fry
King prawn chilli stir fry

Chicken and prawn paella

I found all 3 very tasty and full of flavour. The only recommendation I make it to add extra meat & vegetables as they are mostly made up of rice/noodles so I felt they needed more filling.

As a lunch time meal they weren't too bad but for evening meal without anything added me & my partner were still hungry afterwards. When I made the chicken teryaki I added extra brocolli, onion & chicken and it made a much more substantial meal.

For the low price they are a great base for a meal and great if you are on a budget.

Most flavours are quite low calorie too so great if you are health concious like me.

Overall I highly recommend and rate 4/5.

There is a link to them here to buy online and view flavours and they are available in store too. http://groceries.iceland.co.uk/search?text=meal+in+a+bag&view=list
