
I decided this time around if I was going to suceed at losing weight then I had to be honest with myself, which is why I started a blog. I feel I need to write out my thoughts and feelings etc to be accountable for them and my actions.
Saturday was a good day, I had poached eggs on toast for breakfast, chicken teryaki stir fry for lunch then my partner suggested a trip to Asda when he finished work. We ended up getting one of their create your own pizzas to share. They are our guilty pleasure and this was the first we had bought in 2015, which isnt bad considering we used to have one every weekend.
He was on call all day Saturday from 8am until 8am Sunday, when we got home from Asda at 6:30pm he got a call out to a job 1.5 hours away. I decided to go with him for a drive, we didnt get home until 10pm. I am so glad we opted for pizza as it was so late to be cooking a proper meal, if we hadn't got the pizza we would have ordered take away and spent more than the £4,50 pizza cost. Times like this make me believe everything happens for a reason.

I am not feeling guilty over the pizza, we had it, we enjoyed it, it was a rare treat and in the ended saved us having a takeaway which would have been much worse!
I am proud of myself being honest and being accountable for what I have eaten and the choices I have made, I think that will be the big difference this time around and the reason I will suceed.
I was planning some outdoor exercise today but woke up to heavy thick snow, I do not ancy going out in that! I will however dust off my wii fit and do at least 30 minutes on there, not much but a start! I do not know why I keep giving up on the wii fit as it is great exercise and quite fun. I always enjoy it.
It is almost 11am and I haven't had breakfast yet just a coffee, I just plan to have one of my favourite honey & greek yoghurt pots. They are natural, no sweeteners or added sugars and so tasty. They are the only yoghurts I eat now as the mullerlights and weight watchers taste so artificial to me now I am used to more natural yoghurts.
Lunch will be a egg mayo sandwich (made with extra light mayo and using 2 slices from a small 400g loaf bread), a lovely idea I got from a friend on Facebook. I haven't had egg mayo in a long time and always find it so tasty.
Tea tonight will be gammon which has no fat on it, egg, homemade actifry chips, beans & vegetables. Comfort food is needed on a cold day like today, I thought it was supposed to be spring!
